ABOUT US

Founded over thirty years ago, the Falling Gators strive to promote a positive image of the sport of skydiving to the Gainesville community, and provide an avenue for college students to enter the sport. Our organization focuses on building community, education, and charity in unique ways that can only be accomplished by a skydiving club.

The Falling Gators provide several benefits to UF students, faculty, or staff who dream of human flight. First Jump Courses are taught on campus by USPA rated AFF Instructors according to the USPA's Integrated Student Program. The Falling Gators also offer free gear rentals to active members!

Every weekend you will be able to find some of our members jumping at Skydive Palatka. Our goal is to simply get students involved in the sport. We do not force you to jump any more or less frequently than you would like to or are capable of doing. However, we do host the annual Falling Gators Collegiate Boogie every Spring Semester!
